Apple iOS 16 Released: Everything You Need to Know About the Latest Software Update for iPhone!

When Was iOS 16 Released?

iOS 16 was released on 12th September, following months-long public and developer beta process. The release started rolling out at around 10 am PT and is now officially available to download.

iOS 16 dismissed two old iPhones (iPhone 6s and iPhone 7) and declared their end-of-life status.

How Do You Install iOS 16?

  • It has enhanced voice detection. The new software has a more improved speech-to-text for the iOS keyboard.

  • Pay on iPhone. You can accept payments through Apple Pay.
  • Customizable lock screens with animated images, widgets, and cleaner notifications. iOS 16 allows users to apply different styles, fonts, and mini-widgets that can show alarms, weather, and other activities.
