NFL Fans Stabbed During a Fight at In-N-Out Burger

An NFL game turned ugly after a fight broke out at a Santa Clara In-N-Out Burger just miles from the stadium. At least two people were stabbed and the violence was caught on tape.

The Fight

Three of the men involved in the fight, one wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey, another wearing a Las Vegas Raiders jersey, and a third man who was shirtless, were caught on camera. The two men in the jerseys were beating the shirtless man as he lay on the floor between them.

At one point, a man not wearing a jersey stabbed the shirtless man with a sharp object while a woman yelled at him to stop.

At least 10 people were involved in the fight. Two of the people were injured with “multiple stab wounds” Santa Clara police confirmed.

Police reportedly stayed on the scene for several hours after the fight to investigate what happened.

Some Hospitalized, Others Arrested

The fight occurred at around 11:15 p.m. on Friday. Two victims were taken to the hospital. It is unknown what condition they were in.

Several people were detained after the fight. The stabbing suspect remains at large.

Other Footage

Other footage of the fight showed men wearing 49ers or Raiders shirts throwing haymakers while shocked customers and restaurant workers looked on. Blood could be seen on parts of the floor.

Violence at Sporting Events

The In-N-Out was just miles from Levi Stadium, where the pre-season game took place.

Other fights related to sports, and the 49ers, have been the topic of recent news reports. Last week, 49ers fans made the news for violent behavior when a fight broke out in the stands of a 49ers game against the Denver Broncos.

The fight occurred at Levi’s Stadium. It did not even involve opposing teams. Two 49ers’ fans faced off with one getting thrown into a chair as his jersey went from white to red with blood. Security finally came to break things up.

Another act of violence took place a few months ago at a soccer game when one fan stabbed another fan.

Community Reaction

Fox News crews spoke to people who regularly shop at the plaza where the In-N-Out is located. “There are definitely videos of people, you know, going on benders after sporting events, especially after a team wins or loses,” said one concerned citizen.

Police were on the scene for hours as they tried to ascertain what happened.

However, others say it’s rare to see this type of violence in the neighborhood. “This is a concern, but I don’t see it being prevalent all the time- it’s not an issue. It’s a one-off,” another citizen stated.
