Jackson Mahomes, Brother of Patrick Mahomes, Appears in Court for Sexual Battery Case

In one of his first public appearances in public since the allegations of sexual battery, Jackson Mahomes, 23, social media influencer and brother of Kansas City Chiefs star player Patrick Mahomes, was sighted in court on charges of sexual battery.

Jackson Mahomes Appears in Court

He appeared at the Johnson County Court where he made a request to have his bond modified. He asked that he be allowed to reach out to four specific people that he had previously been barred from speaking with as part of the conditions of his release from jail earlier this month.

After some deliberation, the judge did rule that Mahomes could move forward with the requested contact.

Court documents were released on Monday, giving more details into the alleged battery.

According to these new documents, Mahomes, a social media influencer, told the owner of the restaurant he was eating that he wanted to speak with her privately. She walked him back to her office where he then grabbed her by the throat, pushed her into a wall and kissed her multiple times without her consent. The document goes on to state that the woman shoved him away before Mahomes demanded that she not tell anyone what had occurred. However, after he left, the woman told two employees, showing them the visible bruising on her neck.

It also stated that Mahomes returned to the restaurant later that night in an attempt to smooth things over, refusing to leave until the woman he had allegedly assaulted gave him a hug and accepted his apology. Her boyfriend then kicked Mahomes and his entourage off the premises.

Mahomes’ next court date is set for August.
